For more than 11 months now nine Lebanese pilgrims have been kidnapped by the thugs of the opposition and held captive on the Syrian/Turkish borders in the region of A’zaaz . The Lebanese authorities have done very little in terms of pressures on the Turks under whose authority A’zaaz falls and this in order to have the captives released . .The Turkish government has denied any role in the kidnap but everything shows that the Turks are playing a role in keeping the Lebanese pilgrims in captivity maybe within view to exchange them with Turkish officers that were caught conspiring on the Syrian territories .
The Lebanese families have been waiting for their dear ones , their fathers and brothers and sons who have not returned home and thus have decided to act on their own and exert the necessary pressure the Lebanese government has fallen short off . They have decided to block access to the cultural Turkish mission and to the Turkish Airlines and to prevent the Turkish containers from delivering their goods in the port and are starting a campaign of boycott of all sorts of Turkish products in the market . The Families will escalate their protests to include more Turkish interests in Lebanon.
Today , on the commemoration of the Armenian genocide, the families of the nine abducted Lebanese will join the Armenian community in Lebanon in remembering and demonstrating for the victims of the Armenian genocide that happened between 1915 and 1923 and took the lives of hundreds of thousands of Armenians at the hands of Turks belonging to different organizations who chased them and slaughtered them- intentionally – and deported them out of the Ottoman Empire.
This is to say that Turkey has been behaving like the real rogue state it has always been , it is responsible of most of the terrorist attacks on Syria by training arming and smuggling thugs and weapons into Syria and by conspiring against the country and attacking it and sacking its factories and food reserves and by coordinating with Israelis in order to do this . Truly, Turkey should be boycotted as Israel is boycotted because of its role in terrorizing peaceful countries and serving Israeli and NATO agendas in the region at the detriment of Arabs , Muslims and Christians. . May the Armenian victims of the rogue state of Turkey be given justice and may the abducted Lebanese pilgrims return safely to their homes..
